About the Discussant
Dean of the Law and Political Sciences Faculty, USJ
Dr. Lena Gannagé is the dean of the Law and Political Sciences Faculty at Saint Joseph University in Beirut. Mrs. Gannagé obtained her degree in Law from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris 2) and Saint Joseph University. She was awarded a professorship at Lille 2 University in 1999 and Panthéon-Assas University, and she currently runs the section covering the law of Mediterranean Arab countries at the Société de Législation comparée. Dr. Gannagé will be the discussant on Dr. Najm’s paper, titled “Challenges of the Lebanese Judiciary”.
