Since October 17, 2019, Lebanon has witnessed an unprecedented political crisis in terms of its economic repercussions and its threat to citizens' freedoms and social rights

Since the October 2019 uprising, slogans chanted on daily basis in the streets call for the end of impunity and the restitution of ill-gotten assets; they also urged to fight corruption.
